Following the traditional appassimento method, the grapes are partially dried before fermentation, concentrating their flavors and aromas. The wine matures extensively in large oak barrels and bottle, resulting in a luxurious profile. On the nose, it unveils a symphony of dried cherries, figs, cocoa, sweet tobacco, and exotic spices. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with layers of dark fruit preserves, roasted coffee, and a touch of balsamic, supported by firm tannins and a lingering, elegant finish.
